On December 16-17, 2024, Hino organized a pre-opening of the Eco Park Learning Stations at the Suvarnabhumi plant. Students from nearby community schools, including Wat Nakharat School and Preng Wisutthathibodee School, were invited to visit and learn about environmental and nature conservation. This event served as preparation for the Hino Eco Park’s grand opening, which is planned to occur soon.
Hino Eco Park Learning Stations consist of four main stations, each offering unique experiences following:
Learning Station 1 The Acid Sea Phenomenon 🌊
▪ Provides an understanding of the effects of global warming and simulates the phenomenon of ocean acidification.
Learning Station 2 Water for Life 💧
▪ Learns about the importance of water in daily life, practices sampling techniques, uses water quality measurement tools, and creates natural water filters using simple materials.
Learning Station 3 The Colors of Nature 💐
▪ Encourages students to appreciate the beauty of nature through colors, shapes, and textures, fostering a sense of wonder and value for the natural world.
Learning Station 4 Nature Scavenger Hunt 🍁
▪ Gets hands-on experiences with nature by exploring trees, plants, and water sources along an ecological trail within the project.
These learning stations aim to increase visitors’ understanding, improve a green mindset, and develop an awareness of the importance of nature. Furthermore, the project encourages collaboration among communities to build a more sustainable society and environment for the future.
