HMMT Tree Plantation Phase 2
Hino Motors Manufacturing (Thailand) Ltd. (HMMT) has been conducted ”HMMT Tree Plantation Phase 2” at Hino’s new factory in Asia Suvarnabhumi Industrial Estate, Samutprakarn on Saturday 2nd July 2022. This was the 1st plantation event after pandemic that participated by Hino Group (HMA, HMST, Affiliates), Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. (TMT), Toyota Group Environment Network (TGEN) and Mahidol university, total around 200 members to plant 1,900 trees follows the method of Prof. Dr. Akira Miyawaki’s ECO Forest.
Hino Eco Forest Park Suvarnabhumi plant has been in operation since 2019 and expected to be completed and ready for public visiting by 2025. This project has an area approximately 16,000 square meters or 4.2% of the total area which consist of ECO Forest plantation 6,300 trees and Hino plan to start construction of biodiversity learning center this year for providing biodiversity education to communities, educational institutions, and interested parties
